About Ulu Cami
United Islamic Center, also known as Ulu Cami (lit. "Great Place of Gathering"), was established in 1979. What began as a modest gathering space for prayer and community connection has grown into a center for worship, education, and social service. Over the years, Ulu Cami has become a place where individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds come together in unity, under the shared values of Islam.
Today, Ulu Cami serves the religious, educational, and social needs of the local Muslim community. In addition to dedicated prayer halls for both men and women, the mosque features a library, a dining hall, and classrooms. The dining hall serves as a gathering place for social events, iftar dinners, and communal activities, while the classrooms host a variety of youth programs, including our Islamic Sunday School.
As we look toward the future, we remain dedicated to our mission to serve the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our congregation and the broader community.
